The promising young officers of the Marine Environmental Protection Command (MEPCOM) underwent a series of trainings on the ISO Quality Management System conducted by Ms. Mary Glory Caunin of JBDC Occupational Health Safety and Environment Consultancy last 14 to18 August and 22 to 23 August 2023 respectively at the Blulane Hotel, Binondo, Sta Cruz, Manila.
The series of trainings covered the discussions on the following:
• ISO 9001:2015 Awareness Course;
• QMS Internal Audit and Corrective Action with Root Cause Analysis Training;
• Risk Management Training; and
• Awareness on Control of Documented Information
These trainings aims to equip the attendees as future internal auditors and document controllers with knowledge on quality management systems implemented under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard.
CG CAPT PATRICK G BABAG, Commander, MEP Offshore Patrol, Acting Chief of Staff, MEPCOM and the Quality Management Representative (QMR) of MEPCOM concluded the training and awarded the Certificate of Appreciation to Miss Caunin as the resource speaker of the training. He expresses his appreciation to all the participants and encouraged everyone to apply all their learnings in their respective offices in preparations for the next ISO audit.
