𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: CG VADM ROBERT N PATRIMONIO, Commander, Marine Environmental Protection Command (MEPCOM) headed the Turn-over of Donations from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) MIMAROPA, aboard Headquarters MEPCOM, Coast Guard Base Farola, Binondo, Manila, last 10 August 2023.
The Office of Civil Defense has donated ten (10) sets of scuba diving gear to be utilized by MEPCOM in performing the different functions of the Command. This will capacitate the Command to conduct underwater assessments, which are essential to the response during maritime incidents. Moreover, it can also be used during other activities, such as Scubasurero and other marine environmental rehabilitation efforts of this Command.
