LOOK: The ALPHA Distinct Development Solutions, Inc. (DDSI) paid a courtesy call to Commander, Marine Environmental Protection Command, CG VADM ROBERT N PATRIMONIO to introduce their “𝑮𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐” a full circle Plastic Waste Pollution Program through climate innovations and upcycling in rural areas presented by their Executive Vice President, Ms. Michelle Bautista-Tañada and other executives at HMEPCOM, Coast Guard Base Farola, Binondo, Manila on 01 September 2023.
The program aims to address one of the pressing global issues on marine pollution by eliminating ocean plastics, preserving our landfills, reduce carbon emission and provide livelihood opportunities for families and communities by building a plastic waste cleaning and recycling infrastructure.
The recycled and upcycled products is a testament to sustainability, as it has been crafted entirely from the waste collected including plastic, paper, and aluminum waste, all sourced and processed within the Philippines. This promotes circularity, which will also empower the local government to adapt to the waste crisis that we all face.
Likewise, CG VADM ROBERT N PATRIMONIO expressed his sincere gratitude and assured wholehearted cooperation for the “𝑮𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐” program mission.
