CG RADM ROBERT N PATRIMONIO, Commander, Marine Environmental Protection Command led the ribbon cutting and blessing of the new Marine Environmental Protection Accreditation and Certification Services (MEP AcCeS) Office at GF Bachrach Bdlg. II 23rd St, Corner Railroad Drive, Port Area, Manila this 28 September 2022.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was subsequently followed by the blessing of the new office building by CG CAPT LOWIE A PALINES. Also present during the ceremony were CG RADM JOSPEH M COYME, Commander, Maritime Safety Services Command; CG CAPT LAZARO ERNESTO C VALDEZ, DCCGS for MEP, CG-9; CG CAPT FIDELES D SALLIDAO, Director, National Operations Center for Oil Pollution; and CG CAPT JAY T TARRIELA, DCCGS for HRM, CG-1. Mr Anthony Sevilla- Oceanwide of Maritime Services Corp., Ms. Gelma A Godinez of Regatta Marine and Certification Service Co., Mr Ivan Gil Tuazon of SEAOIL PHILIPPINES and Ms. Caren A Babierra of Flexus Maritime Certification and Surveying Corp were present in the said event reflecting the strong partnership of MEPCOM and its stakeholders.
In his message, CG RADM PATRIMONIO thanked the stakeholders present during the event for their full support in the Commandโs mandate and activities.
MEP AcCeS was activated last 20 December 2020 to facilitate the processes for the issuances of mandatory Certification, Accreditation and Registration in compliance with Section 3 paragraph N of RA 9993, HPCG MEP Memorandum Circulars and MARPOL 73/78 related regulations.
The new office of MEP AcCes is open for clients Mondays to Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM.
