25 March 2022 – The Marine Environmental Protection Command celebrated the National Women’s Month 2022 with a series of activities and ended with an awarding ceremony on 25 March 2022.
A Sports Tournament kicked off the event which was officially launched by CG VADM ROLANDO LIZOR N PUNZALAN JR together with CG RADM ROBERT N PATRIMONIO as the Presiding Officer on 08 March 2022. Likewise, the conduct of webinar on Anti-Violence Against Women and Children and MEPCOM Adonis Pageant. Whilst the awarding ceremony was conducted on 22 March 2022 held at PCG Gymnasium, Coast Guard Base Farola.
The above activities aim for women empowerment and gender equality as well as to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among the MEP Personnel of this Command.
