The Marine Environmental Protection Command obtained its certificate confirming that its management system conforms to the requirements of the standard ISO 9001:2015, which was certified by the SOCOTEC Certification International.
The Command underwent a successful five series of training, internal quality audit, and two-stage external audit by the immense efforts and dedication that was executed in the implementation of the requirements for compliance to ISO certification.
The standard focuses on several quality management principles including strong customer focus, the motivation and direction of the top management across all levels in the organization, the better process approaches and framework for continual improvement which will equip the Command in providing the best services for its stakeholders.
