Marine Environmental Protection Command (MEPCOM) commences preparation for the joint Field Training Exercise (FTX) together with Maritime Safety Services Command (MSSC), Naval Special Operations Command and Coast Guard Special Operations

Force (CGSOF).

The FTX is designed to give personnel a realistic training environment where they can hone their abilities in a variety of fields, including physical conditioning, marksmanship and tactics. With a focus on preparing personnel for combat situations, casualty care, and weapon handling, the FTX will also give the MSSC and MEPCOM the chance to evaluate their operational readiness and coordination.
