New memories to treasure as the Marine Environmental Protection Command (MEPCOM) turns into silver by kickstarting the 25th Founding Anniversary celebration with a Fun Run and Zumba at Coast Guard Base Farola, Parade Ground on Wednesday, 10 May 2023.

With the theme, “Celebrating 25 Years of Protecting Our Oceans and Marine Life, Defying Challenges, Adapting Innovations and Moving Forward to Greater Heights,”MEPCOM, headed by its Commander, Coast Guard VICE ADMIRAL (CG VADM) ROBERT N PATRIMONIO together with Deputy Commander, Coast Guard COMMODORE TEOTIMO R BORJA JR., Commander, MSIF, Coast Guard COMMODORE EDUARDO P DE LUNA JR., Director, NOCOP, Coast Guard COMMODORE, FIDELES D SALLIDAO and Chief of MEP Staff, Coast Guard CAPTAIN RICHARD Q PARAGAS took time to recharge as they significantly acknowledged the hard work and perseverance of its men and women by having a Fun Run and Zumba activities as a start of the month-long anniversary celebration – a move that jumpstarts the camaraderie of this family.
