On or about 8:00 am of November 12, 2020, the Marine Environmental Protection Command deployed a team of 10 personnel to compose a Disaster Response Group led by ENS JOHN MICHAEL SIGUE PCG to conduct Search and Response Operations in the vicinity of Provident Village, Marikina City.

The team on board two rubber boats was able to rescue more or less 200 families while traversing more or less 20 feet deeply flooded area. The team also joins hand in hand in helping the rest of the victims together with the PNP/PNP Maritime Group, AFP, BFP, and LGUs.
