25 October 2021 (Monday) – This Command held the Turn Over Ceremony of the National Operation Center for Oil Pollution (NOCOP) which was followed by the Joint Closing Ceremony of Basic MEP Officers’ Course Cl 02-21 and Basic MEP Non-Officers’ Course Cl 01-21 with CG RADM ROLANDO LIZOR N PUNZALAN JR, Commander, MEPCOM as the Presiding Officer and Keynote Speaker at the PCG Gymnasium, Coast Guard Base Farola, Muelle Dela Industria, Binondo Manila. CG CAPT FIDELES D SALLIDAO assumed as the new Director, NOCOP. The outgoing Director, NOCOP, CG COMMO ROBEN N DE GUZMAN served as Director from 20 September 2020 to 25 October 2021. The said turn-over ceremony was immediately followed by the Closing Ceremony of Basic MEP Officers’ Course Cl 02-21 consisted of seven (7) student Officers and Basic MEP Non- Officers’ Course Cl 01-21 with twenty-nine (29) student Non-Officers.
